Kimberly Butler

Owner

Kim is the owner of Building Blocks Child Care Center. She started doing daycare in the summer of 1999 out of her home and continued for 25 years, until upgrading to a facility in 2024. She has a passion for childcare and enjoys spending time with her family in her free time.

Sam Douglass

Director

Sam is Kim's daughter and has grown up in a home daycare her mom started in 1999, giving her years of experience with all ages of children. In her free time Sam enjoys spending time with her husband, son and two dogs, Taz & Miya.

Deborah Sandhu

Lead Infant Teacher

Ms. Deb is essential to our infant room. She has a background in early childhood education and is a mom of 6! She is very loving and has lots of patience - two skills that are important in an infant room!

Lindsey LaPointe

Assistant Infant Teacher

Ms. Lindsey is a great asset to our infant room. She is a mom and has many years of caregiving experience. She is kind, patient, and loves to keep things tidy and clean!

Lily Cooper-Torchetti

Lead Toddler Teacher

Ms. Lily is great for our toddler room. She is eager to make connections with the families and their littles. In her free time, she enjoys being with her family, traveling, being outdoors in the sunshine, and making the most of each day.

Natavia Patterson

Assistant Toddler Teacher

Ms. Natavia is a perfect fit for our toddler room and has experience with children of multiple ages. Natavia enjoys painting, drawing, reading, and crocheting in her free time. 

Caira Havens

Lead Pre K Teacher

Ms. Caira brings a great energy to our Pre K Room. She has experience watching children as well as teaching young children how to ride horses. In her free time, she likes shopping, learning new things and being outside.

Samantha Belden

Lead Pre K Teacher

Ms. Sammy brings great, calm energy to our Pre K Room. She is very kind, and has a very friendly and sweet approach to working with children. She has three younger brothers, a dog named Skittles and a dog named Lunchbox! She loves crafts and music in her free time.

Paige LaPointe

Lead Preschool Teacher

Ms. Paige is wonderful in our preschool room. She has many years of experience in childcare, as well as babysitting on the side. She has great techniques for working with this age group, and is eager to make connections with all of our families.

Lead School Teacher

 Ms. Emily is great for our School Age Room. She has good tips and tricks for our older kids and comes from a big family. She has many years of experience with her nieces and nephews and loves hot air balloons and her cats.

Carol Carlon

Float

 Ms. Carol is a necessity here at Building Blocks. She keeps our rooms clean and tidy, while also prepping for meals, covering rooms when needed, and bringing a great energy to our children and staff. She has children and grandchildren and loves to spend time with her family.
